Sitting up Now!!

Look at me!! I can sit up with and without the support of my trusty boppy. Mom just has to keep a real close eye on me because I tend to want to stand from this sitting position and throw myself backward! Next, I'll be standing! Look out world!!!!

In My Chair

I am now enjoying a new kind of toy - in my chair! While my Mom was cleaning today, she hooked me up with a new chair and some new toys - it was so fun! We wanted to go outside and play in the snow, but it was soooo cold, that Mom decided against it! We got a foot of snow here in Philadelphia!!

Last Weekend

Last weekend, my Mom and I went up to visit my Grandma and Grandpa in Lake Ariel. While I was there, we visited with Granny Marraffini, Great-Grandma Corey, and Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Kim. We also went to church and I saw my friend Cassie!

To make a long story short, Aunt Kim and I got "rassling" and I gave her a good one to the nose. She caught me with a left hook to the cheek, but only managed to scratch me with an uneven nail. Here we are after we made up and sat down to eat a peace dinner. If you look to the right, Uncle Jeremy is still upset about the fight and still shook up over what happened!!

Six Months Old!!

I am now officially 1/2 of a year old! Happy half birthday to me!!

These days, I am into saying "wawa", eating lots of cereal, sweet potatoes, peas, bananas, pears, peaches, carrots, and anything else I come in contact with (my hands, my toys, the cats). I am not into green beans or pureed meat (tried turkey in broth the other day and could not stand it - I screamed).

I am reaching for things now - my toys, the cats, my parents, and don't like to sit up much, but like to stand instead! Mom and Dad think I am going to be an early walker - look out world!

Not only am I more curious about things around me, but I think certain things are really funny and I laugh out loud hysterically - when someone hurts themself, when Mom acts like a fool, when Dad tickles me, etc. In fact, when I am having my diaper changed, I sometimes mistake that for tickling and laugh at that too - especially when I poop! It's pretty funny that adults have to wipe up my poopy!!

Just a week or so ago, I had my picture taken professionally for the first time. I didn't mind it at all, but my Dad says that when I'm 18, I'll be really mad at Mom for making me wear angel wings and hold a bow and arrow like Cupid!!

Pretty soon I have to go back to Dr. Obenrader to get my six month shots, so when I do, I'll be sure to post how much I weigh now and what I measure in at!

Tonight we are getting a lot of snow - my Mom's "friend" Kathy Orr says that we're getting between 8 and 12 inches, so if that happens, we are going to bundle up and make a snowman in our backyard - Mom, Dad & me!!
