The First Day of Winter!

Due to a bad reaction from a medicine my mom is taking for her back, she took the day off of work today. My Dad is still in Houston fixing their jet problem, so my mom decided that we would be rebellious and wear shorts around the house on the first day of Winter! This is me in my Mets outfit. Aunt Kim bought it for me, so Mom wanted me to get some use out of it! I have my hat on backwards because the "word on the streets" is that it's cool to do so - although my Mom didn't leave the tags on it (as they are abrasive).

Houston, We Have A Problem...

Today my Dad is going on his first long road trip. He is going to Houston, Texas to fix a jet down there, because it is too broken to fly back (so I guess Houston does have a problem). My Mom kept saying "Houston, we have a problem" and it made me laugh - Dad thought otherwise. Here is me after Mom kept telling me that Houston has some sort of problem.

Cereal - And I Don't Mean Fruity Pebbles!!

This weekend, my Mom and Dad decided to feed me cereal for the first time (actually it was my Mom, because my Dad thought it was so gross he offered to change poopy diapers in exchange for Mom feeding me cereal). I really enjoyed it (what got into my mouth, that is). Don't tell Dr. Obenrader - we didn't ask him first...shhhhhhhh!!

Preparation of the Christmas Tree

In preparation for the Christmas decorating around the house, my Mom and Dad tried to get me to put my "Baby's First Christmas" ornament, given to me by my Ouma and Oupa, on the tree all by myself. What they didn't take into account is that Christmas ornament hangers are sharp and dangerous and when I sensed that danger, I dropped the ornament hoping to spare my eyes!! Since that dangerous period of time, I now adhere to "Mr. Yuck" stickers, don't run with scissors, and don't take formula or breastmilk from strangers!!

Back to Work.....

This past week my mom went back to work. She seems to be a bit upset about it, but I am really not all that phased by it. In fact, I sing all the way to and from the babysitter's house and when we get home in the afternoon, we snuggle until I have to go to bed - it's a sweet deal!

Holy Smokes!!!

Yesterday, I went to my new doctor and we found out that I am now 24.5 inches and 15 pounds - Great Scott!!!!! My new doctor, Dr. Obenrader, said that I am a most perfect baby boy and from the looks of things, will be an early walker! On a much more dismal note, I think I have my first cold ever! I seem to be a bit snotty in the eyes and nose, but don't seem to mind it much - I cough and then laugh!! Here is a picture of me in my bouncy chair - which I like quite a bit!
