Great Googly Moogly! It's Been Too Long!!

Well, the nerve of my parents and not posting anything new on my blog in such a long time! I have done so much in this small period of time, that catching up might be impossible, but I will try to undertake this task in this one sitting!

I am now 9.5 months old (yes, Mom is already teaching me how to convert fractions into decimals, she says percentages are next). In fact, I'm more like 9.75 months old because I'll be 10 months on the 3rd of June!! I am now 23 pounds 3 ounces and 30.5 inches!! I am a big boy! My Grandpa calls me a little "Bouncer". I wear size 12-18 months clothing - as I am a big boy (as stated earlier). I crawl (backwards), sit up with great dignity, am into everything, am starting to grow some hair, recognize people, give hugs, give 5, shake my head "no", and so much more!! My greatest accomplishment happened this morning, when my Mom went to make my breakfast and I called for "mama" when she went around the bend to the kitchen while I was playing with my toys on the floor. When she didn't say anything in return (as she was rightfully stunned), I again said "mama" in a questioning type of tone - Mom then cried and called Dad at work. I am really starting to make some sense of my English (although Mom is teaching me Spanish simultaneously).

I think the reason I am so big, is because I really don't care for much formula anymore. I have 4 ounces in the morning, eat my cereal mixed with fruit at about 10ish, eat lunch at 2, eat dinner at 7 and then have a few more ounces at bedtime, so I'm nearly off that vile stuff! Dad especially hates formula - says it smells bad! I am also eating a lot more table food - I love spinach, ice cream, rice, water, juice (from a sippy cup, of course), wheat bread, ice pops, and candy!!!!! I don't get the ice cream or candy much, but I like to brag about it!!!

This past weekend was Mother's Day and I got my Mom the nicest White Gold Peridot and Diamond ring for the special 1st occasion. She really liked it a lot! Don't tell anyone, but my Dad helped me pick it out. By the way, the Peridot is my birth stone!!

At any rate, I look forward to doing some fun things with my parents soon this summer - like go to the beach, the aquarium, the art museum, and other things, but Mom has to take care of her radiculopathy first (I don't even understand it - but it's a back problem thing they tell me) first.

I am growing so fast, there is sure to be more soon!!
